This key lime puppy chow is not something you’d normally see me eat. Puppy chow (or muddy buddies) is something I love but never think to make. When eating Chex for breakfast as a kid, I used to beg my mom to make the puppy chow recipe on the box. And I’m not knocking her, but I don’t think we ever made it. Puppy chow is usually made with Chex cereal, but for the s’mores version, it’s only appropriate to use Golden Grahams cereal. Cover the cereal with melted chocolate, peanut butter & marshmallow. Then coat everything with powdered sugar. It’s a bit nutty and chocolatey with a hint of graham cracker and marshmallow. Toss in a large clean bowl along with the Golden Graham cereal, graham cracker chunks, chocolate chips (or Hershey's Drops), and mini marshmallows. Recipe Notes If you're using a chocolate spread, I like to add ⅛ tsp. kosher sea salt to the chocolate mixture after it's melted- it's completely optional.
